皮尔斯表示：“现在谁有机会接近勒布朗的纪录呢？卢卡有机会，但是卢卡的运动能力不强。勒布朗现在仍然有运动能力，我不觉得卢卡在35岁还能场均拿30分、28分。
“卢卡就像哈登，哈登现在的得分开始下滑了，你再想一想哈登在他的巅峰期是怎么得分的，他现在慢下来了。而且哈登和卢卡相比运动能力还要稍微好一些，哈登现在的得分已经下降了，所以我觉得卢卡也会这样。”
